  1. I am not afraid to read anything at all. One thing that I am afraid of is writing. I am afraid to write because I think that most people judge the way I think when I write. I don't think I am very good at writing, especially when it comes to a topic that I cannot relate with. My College English teacher in high school always gave my class prompts that not a lot of people could relate with. A lot of people didn't do good in that class because we did't think of ourselves as creative to write about a topic that we knew nothing about. I struggled in that class because I don't feel that I am a creative writer. I think that I can be creative with some points, but I feel like my creativity could be better. In my creative writing class I took in high school, we had to write papers about a certian topic our teacher gave us. I thought I did decent in that class and I got an A on everything. The only thing that threw me off was once I read other peoples papers I would think to myself, "how can they think of those types of things?" I put myself down after reading other peoples papers, but Mrs. Black always reminded me that I was a creative writer because I was getting A's on the papers I was writing. I still think that I am not a creative enough writer but I can at least try. I always think of things that any person could think of. I think I need to think more outside the box, like two things that don't go together and make a story about how I think they go perfect together. I just never feel like my stories are anything special to stand out and catch someones attention to think I am a creative writer. A good thing to think about is that I can only get better.

The hall was quiet until she heard laughter coming from the guys bathroom around the corner. She didn't think anything of it so she kept walking in the other direction. When she got to the 3rd door she heard a man scream out "I'll get you back for this." She then turned around to listen on the outside of the door. While she was listening into the door she heard about four or five guys talking about what they were going to do to this kid named Mike. She stepped away from the door and scanned the hallway to see if anyone was around. Then she put her hand on the knob, and at the same time the 5 guys pushed open the door and hit her right in the temple. It knocked her out cold. The five guys trampled over the top of her and kept going until they were out of the school. A few minutes later she woke up to a guys voice shouting "someone please help me." She was dazed and confused but she stood up and proceeded into the boys bathroom. She found Mike's hands tied together with rope from the bar above the window. He was completely naked and his front side was facing outside to little kids who were across the street. The little boys from across the street were laughing histerically at Mike and he was still shouting for someone to help. Finally she got the courage to turn him around and try and pull his pants back up. They were dangling around his ankles. Right as she was kneeling in front of him trying to help pull his pants back on the bell rang to dismiss class. She completly forgot that she left the door open and everyone in the hallway could see that she was kneeling in front of his crotch. The principle walked in and found them. He expelled both of them for 3 days.

    1. Oh my gosh, Alyssa! Okay, so when I first started reading this story I had NO idea where it was going. “She heard laughter coming from the guys bathroom around the corner.” That right there could make the story go a million different ways. I like how it got suspenseful when she was scanning the hallway to see if anyone was coming, before she put her hand on the knob to open the door. Naturally, accidents always have perfect timing, so I wasn’t surprised when the door flew open in her face. However, for it to knock her out cold it had to have been quick. Also, I can’t imagine being hit in the head with a door would not feel very well anyway. When the five guys kept running right over top of her I kind of had the “what the heck is wrong with these people?!” feeling. That was until I realized what they were running from. The fact that after she woke up and remembered exactly what she was doing and didn’t seemed to be phased about what had just happened to her was a nice touch to the story as well. Then we find out that he was tied up and naked, facing little kids across the street. Honestly the first thing that came to my mind is that he’s probably going to be put on a sex offender list if an adult sees him. Anyway! I’m really glad that the girl helped him get out of this mess. The part where she was kneeling in front of him and the principle was standing right there and they were suspended, was almost funny to me. I’m not sure if it was supposed to be though. I almost wish that we would have found out what the guy did in the first place to deserve this. Anyway! Good story!

    2. Thanks for the advice Kristi. I really didn't think that much in advance to write about what he did earlier to deserve that. I just figured everyone else in the class would write about something scary so i decided to do something kind of funny. The part were she was in front of his crotch and the principle walked in was supposed to be funny. haha. My mind just kind of wanders when I have an impromptu writing. In reality your right "Mike" in real life would have gotten on the sex offender list. But it is just a story and whatever you want to happen in a story it will happen. You are completely right about things happening with perfect timing when she got hit in the head with the door. That always happens to me, i don't know about you. I like just making random stuff up as i go. to be honest i had something completely different in mind when i thought about writing this story. Im glad you enjoyed reading my story and thank you for giving me advice. You are really good at giving advice on writing.

I have mixed feelings about this episode of how i met your mother. I think it is okay that none of their lives turned out the way they planned in those 3 years. I like how they went in order on the years that everything happened instead of skipping around. I really liked how the creepy guy watching from across the street tied into the end when i found out he couldn't fart in front of his girl roommate. I didn't like when the guys pictured themselves in the net 3 years was unrealistic. Marshal had good points about being married and having children because that is what most people do dream that their lives will turn out. But the one guy, i forget his name, dreamed of marrying a princess and building the opera or something like that. Those ideas are just unrealistic to me. They should have more dreams of finishing college with all a's and getting a good job in the field they studied for. Having a family and supporting them would be a good dream. I think they should have had them dream about simple things in life instead of something that will most likely not happen. Someone watching the show understands that if you dream about unrealistic things in life, when it doesn't happen you will just be unhappy with your life. There were good parts in the show and there was also bad. I just don't know how i feel about this episode yet. I liked it but yet again it was unrealistic to me.

  4. Intro and Conclusion

Intro: The Series Smash directed by Michael Mayer and Michael Morris is about a musical on Marilyn Monroe that is pact full of drama. Most of the drama on the episode "Bombshell" is between an understudy Karen Cartwright played by Katherine McPhee and Ivy Lynn played by Megan Hilty. This episode is a constant struggle of which one of them is going to be the new Marilyn Monroe. The music and the actors fit perfectly in this episode of bombshell, but the costumes and settings do not.
Conclusion: Although the music and actors fit well in this episode, the costumes and settings do not. The music is very emotional, dramatic, and appealing to the audience. The actors in this episode are very believable and realistic to the audience. The setting in this episode did not match up with the costumes very well. Overall this was a very dramatic and well played show with only slight missing details and mistakes.

I was not in class for this assignment so I do not know what to write about. I know that you had to bring in an object that had something to do with why you like to read or write. If you didn't bring in an object Prof. Piro would assign one to you. I don't really have anything that I would have brought in to go with this topic. I just write what I like to write and not have anyone tell me what to write. I like to read on my own and I only like to read books that look appealing to me. I don't like it when teachers tell me I need to read a certain book because half the time I lose interest in the book after the first five chapters. There are only three books that my teachers told me to read that I actually liked. The books were To Kill a Mockingbird, Tuesdays with Morrie, and 19 Minutes. Those books kept my interest the entire time. I saw what some people wrote about on this assignment and they were just describing the object they had. Since I wasn't in class I have nothing to write about or describe.

I get on Facebook a lot and I constantly see political stuff all over it. If I want to sit down and relax and watch TV all I see on the commercials is political stuff. If I just want to listen to music on YouTube I have to watch a stupid 30 second advertisement on "Obama did this, vote for me Mitt Romney," and 'Mitt said this, reelect me president Obama." I get sick and tired of hearing about all the debates and feuding over the media. They act like they are brothers and sisters telling on one another to make them seem better. It is annoying when people ask if I am voting because all the feuding makes me not want to show attention towards them. I know where everyone is from is different when it comes to their political beliefs. From Mercer County, It is all about what your parents and grandparents stand for. Most of Mercer County vote republican and that is the way my family votes. I won't ever judge anyone how they vote because there is a certain reason why they vote that way. Mercer County Votes republican because it is full of farmers that are very conservative. I talk to people from home about all this feuding going on and they argue that they are tired of it too. Maybe is the candidates cared more about what the people had to say instead of only thinking about themselves more people would vote.

Little red riding hood was packing her bags to go visit her grandma in Georgia. She put her favorite jacket beside her bag so she wouldn't forget it. She then got a call from her best friend Laura. Twenty minutes had flown by while she was on the phone. Her mom then screamed up to her room telling her it was time to leave. Little red riding hood grabbed her bag and walked downstairs to meet her mother. Ones they arrived to the airport her mother kissed her and told her to have a safe trip. Red got comfortable in the airplane and was thinking about the meal her grandma was going to cook. Little reds grandma made the best spagetti ever and that was her favorite meal. After five hours of flying, little red landed at the Georgia airport. She grabbed her bags and and headed outside to meet her grandma. When she walked outside a burst of cold air hit her, so she looked inside her bag for her favorite jacket. She couldn't find it anywhere so she started freaking out. Her grandma found her and asked her what was wrong. Little red explained that she must have left her favorite jacket at home. Her grandmother told her not to worry that she would make a new one. They went to her grandmas house and ate spegetti and made a new jacket together. That new jacket is now her favorite jacket.

Detective- I was asleep when I got a call from the chief of police at 3 in the morning. I arrived at Walmart at exactly 3:26. The family was hunched over the dead body of a 12 year old girl named Lucy Mills. She had been shot in the forehead. There were 4 people including the parents that were ready to talk to me to give me information. The first witness, Alex Bailey, said he was exiting Walmart at 2:38 when he saw a black man run to a 1994 blue pontiac grand prix. The man speed off and headed south on highway 45 The next witness, Haley Drescher, said she saw a black man about 6"3' grab miss Mills wrist and then point a 9 mm gun to her head and pull the trigger. He screamed "OMG that was the wrong girl," into a walkie talkie. The mom, Nancy Mills, said her daughter went to go get shampoo and she was suppose to meet her at the make up aisle. She said she heard her daughter Miss Mills scream "Mommy help." She ran to the shampoo aisle and saw a black man with a red Fox hoodie on and black Lee Jeans. The father, Doug Mills, said he was in the hunting aisle when he heard his daughter scream, "Mommy help." He dropped what he was holding and then heard is wife scream a deadly screech to the top of her lungs. By the time he arrived to his daughter, his wife was hugging his daughter and sobbing uncontrollably.
Corner- I was finishing up my rounds at the hospital when the Chief of police called me at 2:48 AM. He said a 12 year old girl died at the local Walmart. When I arrived the cadaver was laying prone with blood coming from the left side of her temple. I examined her right wrist and found a perfect bruise matching the shape of a hand from a man that was 6"3'. On the back side of her parietal bone was remains of a 9mm bullet. Two feet behind her on the shampoo shelve was her blood splatted all over.
Prosecuting Attorney - The information I received from detective Adam West states that this black man, Darnel Jones, was caught on the Walmart camera's leaving the building. He ran to his 1994 blue pontiac grand prix and sped off south on Highway 45. The witnesses saw the same man grab Miss Mills wrist and point the gun at her head and shoot. Then they heard him scream "OMG that is the wrong girl." That just proves that Darnel came in Walmart and shot Miss Mills and ran out because he knew he screwed up.

  9. I was walking into Babies R' Us with my wife of 3 years. My wife found out 6 months ago that she was pregnant with our first child. We were both excited when we found out, so today I decided to take my wife out to eat and pick out baby clothes for our little girl. We were walking down the aisle with the newborn toys when I saw my ex girlfriend of 3 years. I always told her I wasn't the marrying kind because I was only 19 when we started dating and I wanted to party. I liked to go out on the weekends with my friends and I didn't want to worry about a nagging wife all the time. She always tried to hint towards me that she wanted to get married the 3 years that we were together but I learned how to take everything she said and let it go out the other ear. I would change the subject and try to talk about football or how my day was. Well, when I saw my ex girlfriend Cindy, her eyes lit up when she saw my wifes belly and the rings on our fingers. She then walked up to my wife and me with a smile on her face. She said "Hello my name is Cindy." Then she looked up at me and said, "I thought you weren't the marrying kind!" Then I knew what was coming, I saw her hand fly back and she punched me right in the nose. I couldn't feel my nose and I took my hands up to my face. I looked down and saw how much blood was coming out of my nose. I hate blood so what did I do, I passed out. I wake up in the closest hospital with my wife standing next to me laughing. She said, "I can see why you didn't want to marry her, she is fiesty." I asked her what happened and she said she uppercutted me so bag that she not only broke my nose, but she sent the cartilage up into my brain which made me pass out. I was just a joke at the hospital that I got put in the hospital by a girl.

On night Santa Claus called up a witch named Mellony and the Easter bunny. He said he wanted to have a little fun and he wanted them to come with him. They all met at Santas workshop and decided that they wanted to go to a wax history museum. It was 3 in the morning and every museum is closed, so they would have to break in. The museum is in New York so they snuck through the back door as the security guy was locking the front door. They hid inside a canoe that was in there until the security guy left. Once he locked the door they were all walking around looking at the wax people. The easter bunny snuck in some beer and they started drinking it. Two hours went by and they were all drunk and were talking about how sweet it would be if the wax people were real. Santa said that those wax people could help the elves make toys and help him deliver them. The easter bunny said that the wax people could help him deliver candy to childrens house. The witch said that the people could help her scare children on Halloween. A few moments passed and then finally the easter bunny thought of the idea that the witch could make the wax people real. The Witch said that was a bad idea and that her magic didn't always turn out the best. Santa and the easter bunny kept bugging her until she finally did it. All the wax people came alive and started talking to the trio. Santa took 1/3 of the people with him to the shop to work on presents, the easter bunny took anyother 1/3 of the people to help him deliver candy, the witch took the final 1/3 of the peopole to help her scare people on halloween. The next day the security guy opened the museum to find that all the wax people were gone. The whole city was searching for the people. A week went by and they finally stopped looking. After that week all the wax people turned into zombies and started to burn everything. Then suddenly Santa, the easter bunny, and the witch woke up from the dream.

Last week me and my girlfriend of 3 years broke up. She was too emotional for me and she complained about me going out with my friends. The situation was that I was suppose to go to the movies with her and her family but my friends were going to a party and I wanted to have fun. I haven't seen my friends for a month because of her, so of course I wanted to see them. Well I called my girlfriend and told her all the guys were going to a party and I wanted to go with them and I didn't want to go see a love movie with her family. I asked her if she wanted to come to the party with me but she blew up and told me to screw off. That is when I finally had enough and I broke up with her. When my parents asked why Katie kept calling the house asking for me I told them the story about why I broke up with her. My parents looked at me and shook their head. Mom said I was incensitive and didn't have a heart and my dad told me the girl is always right, you might as well learn that now. They asked if I still wanted to be with her and I said, "Of course, I love her. I just can't stand how things are now." Mom told me that I should appologize and get back together with her. The best advice I got was from my father. He said, "Son, If you love her you will do anything to get her back. It was wrong of you to choose your friends over her. Even though you asked her to go with you, it was still wrong. You have to treat the ladies nice. You should have went to the movies with her and her family and then you both should have went to the party with your friends. If you want her back you tell her that you are sorry and that you should have done what she wanted to do first, and then you both could have went out after. Make sure she knows that you know you were in the wrong. Most of all, tell her how you truly feel about her." I sat down and thought about this for a while, my father did have a good point. I could have compromised a little bit, and I didn't have to just break up with her because she wanted her way. A half hour later I called up Katie and told her what my dad told me to say. I also told her that she needed to stop being so controlling and let me hang out with my guy friends once a week. She agreed that she would let me hang out with my friends more and she was sorry for blowing up. She said that she would try to comunicate better.
